Meet Kristyn

Kristyn’s first meeting with Juliann and Trip—arranged by a mutual friend—sparked an instant connection. From the moment they said “hello,” the chemistry was undeniable. When Kristyn joined The DeForrest Team as a transaction coordinator, she quickly became more than just a team member—she became family. By January 2020, her role had evolved into a cornerstone of the team’s continued success.

Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kristyn relocated to Surfside Beach with her family for her father’s career. Their family later grew with the arrival of her younger sister. After a devastating house fire, the family moved to Murrells Inlet, where they would call home for the next 18 years.

In 2015, Kristyn married her high school sweetheart, a former Horry County Law Enforcement Officer. Together, they’ve built a beautiful life and now reside in Lewisburg, West Virginia, where they relocated with their three children in the summer of 2023.

When she's not supporting clients or the team, Kristyn enjoys spending quality time with her family—watching movies, cheering on her oldest at basketball games, making music, trying new recipes, and engaging in lively game nights. She’s also deeply committed to personal growth, holding an Associate’s Degree in Health Science from Horry-Georgetown Technical College, and proudly serves as a licensed real estate agent with The DeForrest Team.
